Sisi is the Director of Wisdom Rose Business Consultancy.


Wisdom Rose Business Consultancy provides consultancy services for businesses across Hong Kong, China, New Zealand, Australia and the United States – we assist international companies/firms with their Asian operations – providing advice and input on dealing with Chinese counterparties and stakeholders.


Sisi is focused, passionate, confident and determined. She delivers results through clear thinking, focused research, deep contacts in the industry and by communicating with clients in a way they can action.


There are so many successful stories to tell. Sisi has helped businesses in the tourism sector, financing & funding sector, legal sector, human capital sector, film industry, technology industry, retail industry, event/P.R industry and wine industry.

Wendy YUEN
Senior Consultant

Wendy is a former director of New Zealand Focus Centre in Hong Kong.


‘NZ Focus’ was a New Zealand Government initiative. Wendy was a Trade Development Executive with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise for a period of 2 years before accepting the challenge to oversee the design, build and fit out of the NZ$2 million project. Once completed, Wendy directed the Complex that encompassed a Retail shop, Demonstration Centre, Exhibition space and Reception centre.


Wendy has visited New Zealand frequently and has engaged directly with many NZ exporters to assess their ‘export readiness’ and to guide them on entry to Hong Kong and China markets. Wendy joined NZTE in 2003 and remained until the closure of the focus centre in Dec 2010.


Prior to joining NZTE, Wendy was Assistant Vice President of the iron ore department, one of the commodity trading divisions of Noble Group Ltd. Before that, Wendy was the Office Manager for Herbalife International Ltd., the Regional office of Asia. In the past, Wendy has held several administrative and business development positions, where she gained a wide range of experience within leading corporations in Hong Kong.


Wendy graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Science, majoring in Organizational Communication from Ohio University.

Marcus SIN
Business Consultant

Marcus graduated BCom (1st Class Hons) – majoring in Economics and Finance – from University of Auckland. He then began consulting work with various consulting firms in New Zealand and Hong Kong.


Marcus initially specialized in in oil and gas industry. He now helps clients in a wide range of industries with business structuring, market research, mergers and acquisitions, financing and funding.


Marcus has provided trading and analytical support for environmental services groups in Australia and New Zealand. He has formulated strategies, constructed models and analytical tools, and provided entry and execution support for trading activities – products included Carbon Credits, Electricity Futures and Options (ASX), Financial Transmission Rights (FTRs), risk management, financing/funding requirements, and portfolio performance reporting. Marcus has designed financial models to assess client projects and advised on acquisitions in the forestry and land management services industries.


Marcus has dealt with different clients across the Asia-Pacific region on a diverse range of issues. Including the largest dairy company in New Zealand, various energy companies, and others.


He has also:

  • Consulted with a large New Zealand based electricity retailer on strategies to expand their service offerings and improve their ‘value-add’ for large commercial and industrial customers;
  • Managed client expectations and presented deliverables in a number of commercial, regulatory and strategy projects in the Asian Energy markets – Singapore, China, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Australia and New Zealand
  • Assessed investment opportunities for major Japanese investment bank seeking prospective energy asset acquisitions in the Philippines.
  • Led a valuation project in Korea of a power asset – forecasted power exchange payments for a 900 MW generation portfolio using an in-house energy market model; and
  • Provided quantitative support to consult on the privatisation of Philippine Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and state-owned (PSALM) generation assets – privatised a combined value of at least USD 3 billion for PSALM.
